(969) Review: Spooxe Dimple Picks

LockLab is Fan funded!  Help pay for stuff to review, break and talk trash about, and maybe even give away when we’re done.  Join the Tribe!

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Not common in the US?? BULL! The Government partially recovered from cranial-anal inversion syndrome, and started using Mul-T Locks on a lot of (stuff).

  2. I have a dimple lock sitting in my shop that I want to learn to pick, but can’t see paying that much on my first set of dimple picks.

  3. Nice set! Hopefully I’ll be ready to move up to dimples soon. As always, love the videos. I enjoy the combination of instructional videos, lock challenges and breakdowns, and gear reviews.

  4. A quality looking set. Most of the dimple pick sets I’ve looked at are Chinese made and are of poor quality and finish. I have always found that buying quality tools is a decision that you will not regret. Quality tools will usually cost more and will last longer and perform better

  5. No way would I spend $120 bucks on 8 picks and a tension wrench. That is a ridiculously high price. I enjoy picking locks for a hobby, but not making these corporations millions. Insane prices!

    1. I they were produced end-to-end somewhere in Asia, I would expect lower prices and poor finish. However, Spooxe is a German one-man company. He finishes the picks by hand, which takes hours, so I find the price quite fair.
