My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. heyo  i just bought one of these for training. is there just normal pins inside or also some security pins ? do you think the change the core from time to time ?

  2. Love the userID! SPP stands for Single Pin Pick, which means you use a hook of some kind to pick each pin individually. In general, more skill is required to SPP a lock than rake it (say, with a bogota or snake rake). SPP is an art form sometimes and some guys (like Samus Aran & ImShatten360) are REALLY good at it, while others like me struggle for years to develop feel for different locks.

  3. Bill, been watching a lot of your videos. Many questions, but the first is "what does SPP'd stand for?" I'll guess one of the p's is picked.. Standard Pick Picked??? Silent Pick Production (your first few).
