  1. So, I've been wondering for a while now. In your videos, you always have the pins on the top and pick the lock "upward".
    Wouldn't that throw you off when you need to pick a lock that is in use, though? Or are the locks actually installed like that in the US?

  2. Let's hope Germany never gets invaded by an army of stationary, medium sized, brightly colored aliens at close range;) hahaha. Just kidding. Are those tools going to be available at your Security Elements store on Etsy?

  3. Thanks bill! I got a inexpensive starter goso set and lock. After watching your vids I raked, zipped, bitch picked and single picked the 6 pin lock a dozen times in 20 minutes. barely any tension like pushing a button.

  4. +Bosnianbill +Adrian Weber Awesome Video Bill & Adrian Lovely Picking Equipment Adrian I can't wait to get mine. 😀 Awesome Video & Photos of Adrian at the end Shooting I thought you were in the German Army for a little while Adrien I'm guessing that's why not for very long with that Shooting. LOL. Just Joking. Well done Dude you shot the first to well. Keep up the great work Guys. I can't wait to speak to you Adrian when you get back and hear all of the stories about what you and Bill got up to. 😀 I Also Love the Trick for the American Lock that's just like I said to you in the past how you can do that. Nick.

  5. Brilliant! I'm adore the pinning tray with the lid! I seriously must have one of those. I'll buy one the second its on sale. Do let me know. Great stuff guys! Also what brand of plug spinner is that, I've been meaning to grab one.

  6. Hey Bill, I have a Chinese padlock that says coral on it. Me and my kids have been picking it for fun – I prefer picking, they prefer "bitch picking" and raking. Now the lock won't open even with the key. It only turns about 20 degrees. What could it be? Springs or pins or what? Any idea?

  7. Got frustrated. I bought the entire range of Sparrow lock picks. I was trying to open my garage door that I lost the key for years ago. I spent an hour or more raking and individually picking and failed completely. Eventually gave up and called my local locksmith who came out and sprayed it with WD40 and waited a couple of minutes, then raked it and popped it open in a couple of minutes.

    Okay, other than being stupid enough not to lubricate the old lock I have a major question. How do you know whether to apply tension clockwise or anticlockwise?

  8. hi bill im new to picking, i came across your channel a few weeks ago so decided to make a few picks and was trying to find materials around the house and i found an old paint scraper, i made a rake and a good hook and started trying my luck. these scrapers are thin, a little flexible horizontally and REALLY strong vertically i haven't seen any wear so far and ive been busy . love the channel thanks for the very clear videos and all the tips . dom

  9. This quick turning tool is just great and it's a big relief. Every time I hear people saying that they would pick a lock the other way round as this is easier, I was thinking that actually you have to pick it both ways to demonstrate that you have the full control. But with that tool it's just enough to pick it one way. Is it working with most of the locks? Also if the lock is mounted in the door?

  10. I want to thank you for these videos, i found your channel a couple of weeks ago, and have been soaking up your teachings while a sparrows beginner kit and cut away locks were ordered.. The picks came this friday but no locks. I raked a old Burg padlock so that wasn't any fun.. So Saturday i went to my local hardware store and picked up a Abus 65/50. With your videos and one other guy's vid on pretension i got it unlock in a couple of hours.. Man this is fun! Thank you

  11. I am so happy to hear, that Adrian is opening a lock pick shop in EU!!! Both Sparrows and Peterson's websites are bad webshops.

    Something I value a lot when it comes to webshops are:

    * good pictures
    * short and precise description / specification of the item
    * items have product numbers
    * discount on numbers of items selected and not pre bundled packs with useless junk
    * easy to use, hence all items can be seen in one page
    * easy way to see which items I have selected for purchase

    Will you webshop by any change have these features? =) I would be happy to be your first customer =)
