  1. Awesome review. I’ve been curious about a few of these but was hesitant to order any. You have me a chance to see them up close and for that I’m thankful. HD, tron, and full glide will be in my next order. Now if only sparrows would make different key ways you could swap in/out of the progressive lock set
    … hint hint!

  2. do you have any videos or advice on of when to drill a lock open? Did one a few days ago don’t know if it was corroded or not working would not like to admit it was my picking skills that was the problem think i’m actually pretty good. Started back around 1976. Really hate to ever destroy a lock.

  3. How often does the giveaways happen? I’ve noticed that when I go to the “you won” section on the website that nothing has happened in a few days. I didn’t know if my phone and computer aren’t showing me something or its happening to everyone. I don’t want to sign up by accident 2 or 3 times for the same giveaway but I’m signing up every time the monday, Wednesday, or Friday roles around. Thanks for the help guys.

  4. I made some picks that were similar to the full glide and half glide they come in handy when trying to reach a high cut pin hiding behind a low cut pin. I like the looks of several of these picks.

  5. A few of these picks I could really use right now, and I will buy them soon. The others I would like to eventually have just to try, so it is nice that I can buy them individually now. Thank you Bill. Good work Sparrows.

  6. Wow!
I love seeing how much the power of the people can get it done.
I love just about every one of those picks. I had the Monstrum xxl kit but broke several of the key picks and have had to make my own close as possible homebrews. And now I even know the actual names of them.

    Thanks for sharing Bill.

  7. Glad you're getting over the flu. Now these are some nice looking picks. It would be awesome if sparrows offered their full line in 25,20,and 15 thousandth thicknesses.

  8. It was about time to get singles. Something like monstrum (or even XL) is a great set but can contain a lot of picks that never see any use. Getting spare sets for most used ones was way too expensive.
Sparrows has some very nice picks like the ones mentioned here. I love that they've got available some 0.020 versions as well. In tight keyways 0.025 can be sometimes too much. Unlike 0.015 they are not that fragile. Unfortunately not all shapes seem to be available in 0.015 and 0.020 sizes though.

  9. That awesome there selling them separate I have the "not sure I'm spelling it right" Atilia and it's a great pick. Thanks for the review and a chance to win them.

  10. Made my first picks a week ago out of stainless steel wall reinforcements (for bricks), put them into my "german designed" chinese starter shitlocks and well it istantly turned into a U shaped pick XD
Hopefully I will get some proper Picks some day ;D

  11. Finally got an old odds n ends pick set – a mostly "HPC Inc. Schiller Park Ill USA" set – and I still can't get that old Yale & Towne padlock open, arrghhh!!
