(25) Review: Peterson Pro-1 Tubular Lock Pick: AWESOME TOOL!

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. That is a crazy looking tool, but it works. Probably does brain surgery also. 🙂

  2. Do you know what the stuff is that Falle-Safe only provides to secret intelligence organization? What are the security levels for lock picking tools?

  3. Does anyone make a pick for the mini-tubular locks? Seems like all the picks i can find online are for the larger size tubular locks, i think they call them the 137 style keys? The reason i ask, i deal with IT stuff constantly and it seems like every time i have to deal with refurbishing or retrofitting stuff to re-use it, for example drive array trays and rack mount server gear, nobody has the keys to them anymore. Sometimes i get lucky and the stuff was never locked in the first place, and sometimes i get really unlucky and have a 24 drive array and someone locked all 24 drive trays and nobody knows where the key is!! It would be nice to decode them and make new keys but for the most part since they are usually in locked/enclosed equipment racks the locks on the drive trays are literally pointless and mainly there for additional access control, anti-tampering, etc. I consulted with a locksmith but his tubular picks were the larger size keys, we have managed to painstakingly sit there and pick them as they are usually really cheap locks but a quicker way to deal with this would be nice!

  4. Do you have any 7 pin tubular lockpicks that you would be willing to sell me? Also how do you modify a 7 pin to work on 7 pin center, left offset and right offset as well as 8 pin. I read the instructions on lockpicking101 forum and dont really understand the process. Thank you.
