My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Have a file cabinet with that lock.
    The lock is horizontal so that gravity doesn't help the pin springs. 
    I have little feel for a false set. Suggestions?
    Never got the key for it.

  2. Hey we all learn something new every day… I did not know these could be bypassed (in Most cases like that). I will have to rember that, save some time and some $. Thanks Bill.

  3. Did a HON lock on with the tweezers from my Swiss army knife at work the other day. Unshieleded. Got to be the hero with that little tidbit of information. :-)

  4. i would love to get into i have a masterlock which i own that i pick all the time i dont know if there are any security pins i dont think there is but would anyone be kind enough to send me a lock with maybie one or possibly 2 security pins for me to practice on for the first time?
