My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Bill have u seen ppl opening padlocks with 2 wrenches? It's destructive but on a cheap bodied lock it Def works check it out on YouTube lemme know what u think

  2. And then there is the kinetic attack.  If the lock is in your hand, grab it by the shackle and rap the lock firmly on the bench, hammer handle or whatever.  The lock comes to a stop and the spring bolt keeps on going.

If the lock is locked whack it on the side with a hammer for the same effect.

  3. Such a cheap lock, not only in the China everywhere, in Europe it is everywhere. So Chinese locksmith rarely used pick. They are some strange unlocking method. Because the lock processing rough. you know ? I have a dream, hope to be able to change it all!

  4. I have shimmed from the back many times to pull the plug from the bible…never thought about(or have seen) a padlock to open it… Another one for the book of tricks!
