My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com



  1. I know these are older videos and I have probably already commented on many, BUT !!, as I go back and watch so many I cant help but comment. Maybe I am mentally challenged, Not sure. Now that we have that cleared up. I learn so much from watching these videos. Like this one because I have noticed a BIG difference with the spring loaded ones. They are TOUGH. And you also shared some fantastic lessons about different tension wrenches. At first I thought it didn’t matter, WRONG!. I really appreciate all the great info. You Da Man Bill. Thank you

  2. Bill, I start at the front and work to the rear when I pick a lock. I can find the pins much easier that way. I've been trying to start at the rear and am still able to pick the locks but the front to rear works better for me. Is there a right and a wrong way? I mean is there a specific reason to start at the rear and work forward? Thanks, and thanks for another great vid. I always learn something or am reminded of something.
