My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com



  1. if you make a sharp tip (like on a flat screwdriver) on your purpose made tool you can give it a smack with the hammer after you torque it loose and turn the front part with the tool. should ket you open it no matter what happens inside

  2. So, those locks with external plastic "protection", add a minute of lighter action make plastic all goey and then insert screwdriver to pop the cap of locking mechanism.

  4. Just paid 3900 for a motorcycle. Worked… my… ass… off for that money. Now come to realize its going to be gone very soon if i leave it out. ugh

  5. Absolutely not. The Abloys are much more precisely made, have more discs, and each disc has many false gates of different depths and shapes. I know of nobody than can pick an Abloy disc detainer lock.
