My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Adam, I have not seen the Gerda disc lock but if they are anything like the Abloy and have the same quality as the Gerda lock that I have, then I'd tend to believe their claim. Any lock can be picked but in some cases (like the Abloy), you are playing a game of statistics and hoping to get very, very lucky.

  2. Adam, No, I have a Gerda lock but have had no luck opening it. I still pull it out once a week or so to play with, but with 16 pins around a central shaft, it is extremely hard to pick and tension. Sorry.

  3. Can You pick some GERDA padlock with disc cylinder? GERDA is Polish lock manufacturer and they claim on their site that their padlocks with disc cylinder cannot be opened without key. I think they just didn't watch your videos…

  4. Randall, take a look at my videos #12 through 16. I went into quite a bit of detail of the innards and weaknesses. No, I like my current job MUCH better than being a locksmith.
