LockLab is Fan funded!  Help pay for stuff to review, break and talk trash about, and maybe even give away when we’re done.  Join the Tribe!

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. the person who buys these deserves to get their stuff stolen. I probably wouldnt steal the item "locked up" but I would leave the guts of the padlock on the ground and a note saying along the lines of "If I was a thief your (item) wouldnt be here now. dont cheap out on your padlocks!"

  2. Cool Bill, even if it's cheating! Lol . The big question is can you rebuild it?…nothing was broke? Maybe weld the ring back in place? Also, if you initially put a few tacks on the retainer, would this slow you down?
