  1. Now you've got me curious… When I run my pick across them I counted 11, but I've not yet cut one of these open. Thanks for the suggestion, now I have a new project! I'll put this on the milling machine and we'll all know for sure.

  2. Hey there, nice picking. I've got this lock, I think I'm right in saying it has 9 pins. 6 on the one side and 3 on the other but your lock has 6 on one side and it looks like 2 on the other from the key but it's just 2 cuts sandwiching a a no cut in the middle of them. If you see what I mean! 9 pins I think.

  3. I think dimple locks are the way of the future, so we better get good at them. I've had minimal luck with the MTL tho, with only a few openings – and I think those were "accidents", due more to my persistence then skill. Lets just keep at it tho, hopefully we'll develop some (almost) Koko-like skills.

  4. Great picking buddy. Only dimple padlock I have is a Master. Got a couple of Israel cylinders and a MTL rim cylinder. Im not right good at dimples but getting there. The Master is an easy pick though.

  5. Ha ha, yeah. I'm Australian, I'm used to getting reamed out on everything i buy..
I'm not going to have to worry about making a mistake while making a key for the Enviro, that's for sure.

  6. Damn, that's enough brass to equip every lock picker on YouTube with a set of Quickpicks! Too bad you're too far away to make postage back & forth reasonable. You can also make about 3000 keys for your S&G Environmental!

  7. Very nice, i love those brass picks too.
I finally found a place to to get 5/16 brass rod here. I have to buy a minimum of 4 lengths, at a mere 3.6mtr length, that's right, 48 feet of brass. LOL, guess I'll be brassed up shortly.

  8. I took a broken pick and bent a small "wave" in the blade. Nothing fancy, but it really works pretty well. Some of the Goso sets have dimple rakes too but I have not had good luck with them because they are too big to fit into most keyways.
