My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. David I also have a Best with a stuck core when I pick it to control. Is it really old and neglected? It’s kinda rare to happen, but it does.

  2. I picked my best lock to control but the core does not come out. The lock was cut off of a storage unit and I was going to replace the shackle . Any idea of why the core does not come out freely? It moves maybe 1mm but no more.

  3. I enjoyed seeing Frankfurt Airport. I have been there 5 or 6 times on my way to somewhere else.  First time I have seen the outside.  Thanks.  I like the Best Lock system.

  4. David,
That wouldn't be a good way to begin. I recommend taking a look at my video posted on 6 January titled "Improve your picking skills (for beginners). It describes how to progress logically to security pins and also shows specific locks to teach you those skills. Good luck! bill

  5. Well a diplomatic passport would make things quite a bit easier lol. And that is a beauty of Best lock. I am sure Dicey is going to love it. And they do make spool pins for SFIC. Even some of the shorter pins come spooled.
