My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Bill I know this is an older video. But maybe you'll see my question anyways. Do you prefer the sparrows bogata rake over the Petersons version? If so why? Thanks in advance for your time. I've had great luck with the Peterson (purple) Bogata

  2. Thank you very much Bill. I was not expecting such a quick and helpful reply. I hope things are all well with you, I hope to speak to you again. Thank you. ……… Ian. in the UK

  3. Hi Bill. How do you dismantle a Euro lock?  Do you have to cut up a plug follower into small bits to push out the plug? I don't have any plug followers yet, so would it be in order just to cut up a pen top or equivalent? I asked Waddac2 (Rich) but I think my email has gone astray as I haven't hear from him, and he is normally very quick. Hope you can help Ian (UK)

  4. Neet old lock Bill. That lock was made to defeat keyway bypass and shimming. Not sure why yale didnt use security pins. They used nasty mushroom pins in push key locks 50 years older.

Also, i sure miss my BB plug followers that i gave to coplocks. Any chance you have a replacement set you could send me?

    Be well,

  5. Thaankyou Bill! I successfully gained access to my home and a tough couple of padlocks. Jr and I were locked out after school let out. Your tutorials saved our day!
